How Do I Cancel My Account?

At Arvixe, we understand that there may come a time when you need to close your account. To ensure a smooth and secure process, we require all account closure requests to be submitted in writing via a Request Cancellation form, Support Ticket, or Chat Support. This allows us to verify your identity and process your request efficiently and properly.

Cancel Account

For customers who still have access to their Arvixe account, we offer a streamlined cancellation process directly through your Customer Area. This method allows for quicker processing of your request.

Important Reminder: Back Up Your Data!

Please be aware that upon completing the cancellation process, all information associated with the selected plan will be permanently deleted from our servers. You must create a complete account data backup (click here to view how) before submitting your cancellation request. This includes website files, databases, emails, and any other information you wish to retain. Arvixe is not responsible for any data loss resulting from account cancellation.

  1. Log in to the Client Area:
    https://customers.arvixe.com/clientarea.php
  2. Click on the MY SERVICES box.

  3. Click the active product you wish to cancel.

  4. Select Request Cancellation from the Actions menu on the left side of the screen.

  5. Please briefly describe your reason for cancelling in the text box provided

  6. Press the Request Cancellation button.

If you can't find a solution to your problems in our knowledge base, you can submit a ticket by selecting the appropriate department below.

  1. Log in to the Client Area:
    https://customers.arvixe.com/clientarea.php
  2. Navigate to the Open Ticket area.

  3. Select Billing from the department options.

  4. Carefully complete the cancellation request ticket. In your ticket, clearly state the following:

    • Subject 
    • Select Related Service from the dropdown
    • Choose Priority from the dropdown
    • Message to close your account
    • Add 
  5. Click Submit.

We will close your account once we receive your ticket and verify the information you provided. You will receive an update on your Support Request once the account is closed.

If you no longer have access to your account, please contact our Chat Support Channel and let us know that you want to cancel your account.

To process your request, please provide the following information:

  • Your username or the primary domain name associated with your account.
  • Provide either the Support Code of your account OR the last four digits of the credit card currently being billed for the account, plus a zip/postal code to verify the account owner.

Domain Owners

We will only cancel your hosting service package when you complete the cancellation request. If you also wish to terminate your domain registration with us, please reply to our message and let us know. Otherwise, to retain your rights to the domain registration, we will generate an invoice for the remaining registration fee balance, depending on the top-level domain.

At Arvixe, we strive to make account cancellation easy and secure. You can cancel through the Customer Area or Chat Support. Remember to back up essential data; all information tied to your hosting plan will be permanently deleted. If you want to cancel your domain registration, please inform us; otherwise, it will remain active, and fees will still apply.
